I think I figured it out! Bad regulator in alternator leads to blown OVP which leads to illuminated ABS light and high idle and difficult cold start. Am I on to something or have I spent the last three hours searching in vain?

Btw, I am purchasing this car over the weekend and she is a beauty! Very clean and I am picky! No reverse gear but all forward gears work flawlessly so tranny shop said bring'em the tranny and i could get that fixed for $500 or less. Sound right? Price of car???? $500 Did I mention she is a beauty?
