Seems about right. I paid $39,000 and change for my 1983 300SD from New York City, which means with no cost of funds (try to always pay cash for a depreciating asset),
it comes to about $143.00 per month of use or $0.06 per mile capital expense.

In the next few years I may get that down to under $100 per month.
