Wrong lube, no slippage in the rear if it’s a possi differential. Another possibility is low transmission fluid level and or it may be time for a transmission service/filter change. Check the drive shaft for any lateral / vertical movement in the front flex disk and center support.

My 88 560SEC had a vibration, shutter on acceleration from a stop, the cause was drive shaft movement, were the rear and front shaft slide into each other and a defective transmission rear tail roller bearing, a lot of lateral play there.


Any lack of power, engine related shutter, engine miss- fire and or fuel filter.
