Oil Filter O-Ring

A reminder for your next oil change:

I just completed an oil change and finally had the o-rings available from a previous parts order (after having read Mr. Carlton's post, in part, quoted above). Using a box cutter, the existing o-ring flew apart in two pieces (at least) with considerable force applied to get them off the shaft. Metal washers indeed.

Easily overlooked and long overdue. I would swear these were factory original!
