Hey:

I found the flasher relay (bad) and am stumped as to how to get the dadblasted knob off of it so I can remove it from the dash. In fact, I pulled really hard on it and the plastic shaft inside the hollow metal switch actuator broke off way down inside the relay.

So...on one hand, I got it out of the dash, but now my knob is attached to a broken metal stump. How do I get it off to put onto the new flasher relay? And how was I supposed to have removed it?

Please help me, somebody.
