Thanks again

I took all the stuff off in order to gain entry to the glowplugs..thanks to the posts of others. I followed all the suggestions and removed the plugs. Took my time, labeled everything, placed all parts in an orderly fashion. All without a hitch.

I must comment on the amount of buildup in the intake manifold or crossover or whatever you folks call it. That stuff was as thick as molasses and was virtually impossible to remove. I cleaned all the parts thoroughly. I am such a novice but I must say that you folks have been exceptional in guiding me through what may seem simple to you but is monumental to me.

Being warned of dropping bolts and looking for them for extended periods of time, I took extra precautions and firmly maintained a death grasp on each of those babies. Knock on Wood! It worked. I feel like Mikey; I cant believe I did it! As an extra bonus, I didnt end up with extra nuts, washers, or bolts--go figure.

Thanks So Much
