Yes.
They're far too busy doing really important stuff, like:
---fighting an astronomically expensive and highly ineffective war on drugs
---pouring ever-increasing amounts of money into a failing public education sysytem
---continually increasing the size and scope of expensive, counter-productive, and ultimately doomed entitlement programs such as Social Security, the Prescription Drug Program, etc...
---protecting the "sanctity of marriage" from homosexuals (while conveniently ignoring the fact that more than 50% of heterosexual marriages today end in divorce)
---endlessly searching for new ways to separate you from your income, while simultaneously inventing increasingly stupid and wasteful ways to spend it for you
---and certainly most importantly, saying and doing anything that will ensure their re-election, so that they can do it all over again next term!
