I doubt it. If you buy a new one, ensure that it is the OEM cord. The aftermarket cords are much more cheaply made, from what I have seen. I paid about $80 for mine from the dealer. It's very nice, and completely covered in heat insulation, but the same part is almost certainly available cheaper online. Perhaps from the "Buy Parts" button above; I didn't check.

An electrical fault with the heater cord could start a fire. Don't go cheap with these sorts of things.
