What I *really* disliked about the guy was that on this forum, even if you have public difference with a member, you can PM him/her and ask his or her advice on a matter that you feel they can be helpful in, and be welcomed to do so. I know there are a few folks here that don't have any love for me publicly, but yet have responded in this way. I had a question for Mr. Doe and PM'ed him, respectfully, and was instead publicly made fun off.

That speaks volumes about the kind of person he was in my mind, and although I don't like the whole "ban" thing, in his case he really offered NOTHING to the community. At least from my perspective.
