Hello All,
I am getting ready to replace the front struts on my 88 TE. Thank the Lord they are not coil overs. Two questions:
1. Does anyone have a preference on brand? There are several different options. Bilstein makes 3 different types from general duty to heavy duty. BOG makes a standard replacement and KYB makes a gas sensor style strut. I live off an unpaved road that sometimes gets a little rough between gradings and I think that hastened the demise of my older struts.
2. The job looks pretty straightforward, but I hate suprises. If anyone who has done this before has any suggestions it woud be very much appreciated.
