The Taurus 4-Cylinder did not use a Tempo engine(maybe, but rebored over to 2.5 v. 2.3 for a Tempo) as far as I know. My Ralph was a 2.5, which is crazy, because it was an LX model with ALL the trim and computer doodads. Don't think I've ever seen another one just like it-- was my first car, and naturally I was attached hehe
I've known too many people that had spare Honda parts lying around to think they're anything but normal cars. They do have trim issues and they do need repairs. Why is my friends 80k 2000 Accord on it's second transmission, why do it's window seals whistle and why does it hunt to find a steady idle?
They've never impressed me--
My Father does work in the steel industry, though-- that may explain it a bit.
