the turbo tranny is beefier. i am in the same situation with my 300cd. i have a bad tranny in it and a good one lying in the gar. but it is from the na car. it will match up and work but wont hold up as long. i would do it but if i go to sell the car i would have to tell folks it didnt have the right tranny.

maybe with a car this old folks wouldnt care, but i am reluctant to put in the weaker tranny.
