I'm disappointed. From this article it sounds like here in the US we won't get any Civic diesels and only the larger cars will have a diesel option (the Accord is still a maybe at this point). That's completely retarded. The rest of the world has had Civic and Accord diesels for many years and from what I've read they're wonderful cars. And that idiot GM Vice Chairman claims that diesels cost too much money and implies that electric and hybrid cars are more economical. Is he kidding?

Oh and BTW, my 240D isn't "sooty", "belching", or "sputtering", thank you very much.
