I never keep track of my auto-related expenses well enough to document something like this, but I know I usually spend buckets of money.

Take for example the 80 300TD I just sold. Bought it for $2,200. Spent approximately $1,200 in miscellaneous repairs and sold it for $1,800. I only had that car 3 months. Yikes, I'm glad my wife doesn't read these forums.
