See, that is why I went to a diesel SUV. Because getting 2 vehicles in that fashion like yours would be too expensive in money and space terms.

Occasionally I tow a 8500# Toy hauler with 2 ATVs. In the SUV, I carry my 3 dogs. 110# Rott, 70# Shar Pei, 60# Am Staff and my 80# Pit Bull that passed on. Also, I use it to carry about 5000 copies of a weekly newspaper. That paper run pays for the vehicle. I use it as a daily driver for shorter distances because of the fuel unless I have the MB. The way I figured it, it was cheaper in terms of insurance and what not even with a discount. It is not a good anything vehicle but it is a good all around vehicle. Yes, it does use more fuel than a car would but the savings in insurance, cost of another reliable vehicle, maintenance, etc, etc, seems to pay off.
