I am pretty sure that this was done in my service. I remember my SA said something about a electrical regulator, did not know it was related to the charging system. And how much over charging are we talking about will it be enough to wreck the battary.

Is 12.5v what you guy/gal are measureing after letting the car sit for about a hour. Because I mesure 12.5v too immediately after driving.

Also I was charging the battary because I don't drive the G500 so much. I try to charge the battary with a floating charger like once a month.
