Changing the filters didn't help, so I took it to my indy mechanic. They read the trouble codes from the EDS and found one for the air flow sensor, fuel rack position sensor, and crank sensor. They cleared the codes. Checked the car and it still didn't have any power. They then drained the tank and cleaned out the strainer which was pretty gunked up. There was an improvement, but it still isn't like it used to be. Still kinda feels like it does when the ALDA is unplugged, however I have verified that the switchover valve, lines, and fittings are clear and passing air.
Any ideas? I still haven't figured it out. One scenario I can think of is that the mechanic drove the car right after he cleared the codes, and it set another when he was done driving it. What's the procedure for reading and clearing codes on the EDS? I seem to remember seeing somewhere that it involved a light bulb and bridging some pins on the socket up next to the battery.
