Not to kill the thread, but I have a very wealthy customer that had me and my brother in law install nifty cable set ups in the trunk of every one of his vehicles in case he is ever kidnapped and thrown in the trunk.

That way he can pop the trunk and jump out of the car going 100 mph and run into the woods before they shoot him should he survive the leap , of course.
Needless to say, he was happy when Mercedes started offering this feature you are speaking of.
