So I needed to get this hose.....

I split the heater hose between head and firewall going around the oil filter while trying to get out my # 5 GP for testing last week so the 240 hasn't been run for a week now. Finally decided to go buy a new hose, the local auto parts had no clue or listings. Called up the local euro parts guy, he wanted the vin, told me the hoses varied within the same chassis. I told him engine was not stock, he had me bring in the hose to identify. Nothing matched on hand or in his parts book. We finally got the numbers on the hose cleaned up enough to read and it turns out the hose is a euro hose. That hose came with my donor engine so it appears I have a euro engine in the 240 now, lol. It's now on order from germany (2-3 weeks out ). We got to talking, I mentioned I needed a fog light to replace my rusty one, he had a nice one for a decent price, took it, talked some more. We got on the subject of my needing a cam, he said he had a few used ones in back. We got to searching and he pops out this dusty box. He reads the numbers and there it is, the one I need. He says, well, looks like I have a new one too, tell ya what I'm tired of sitting on it, its been here for too long, I'll cut you a deal on it today" (I've also done business with him before) He goes back in the office, pulls it up, list is $415, he paid $225 for it, sold it to me for $200. Not bad for a spanking new factory cam. All in all, $280 for a special order hose, fog light, and new cam, not too bad. I plan to gather the info on the valve adjusting and then do the cam swap while I wait for the hose, take advantage of the downtime while I can. Anyone got an adjusting procedure link handy offhand?
