I've heard raves that the 'G' - is the most robust truck to have for the most extreme 4-wheeling circumstances.... how is the 'G'vs. a Hummer - in terms of extreme 4x4 conditions?

I'm wondering, though, ....how good of a 4x4 truck does one need?

Also, the aesthetic styling seems a bit rudimentary and dated for such an expensive automobile (sold new)....
