I just looked at my 300D and it (does not) have a VCV on the IP....
It has a rod going to the transmission from the accel linkage...
The plate on the drivers door has a MFG. date of 9/78..Made in Germany..
Does this indicate that my 300 is actually a 1979..?
I have heard that the mfg. date is actually a year earlier than the year model date on American autos...I do not know if this applies to the German vehicles...
