What's interesting about Geico is that it is owned by Berkshire Hathaway, the holding company owned by Warren Buffet, who has a new worth of about $46 billion dollars, and Forbes Magazine ranks him as the second richest person in the world.

Warren Buffet still lives in Omaha, Nebraska, and has pledged to give his money away before his death, instead of leaving it for his children. You might recall last year that he pledged about $37 billion dollars to Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

He is easily the most successful investor in the history of the stock market.

He is a classic value investor, buying highly regarded companies at a low price.

In addition to Geico, he owns companies like Dairy Queen and Sees Candy.
