My policy for the Benz including collision and and old GMC p/u ( no coll.)
with 250/500 liability and same for uninsured and underinsured and comprehensive on the Benz (also insluding 50k property damage) comes to 750x2 = 1500 per year.
This is through GMAC ( Nat'l Gen. Ins Co.) (AICPA membership group affinity plan). I have been using them for the past 20 years or so.

Also, my carrier does base it's premiums partly on credit scores. Does your insurance company do this? ( It was disclosed on my policy).
