I am getting offered a real nice 500SEL that is under just under 100,000 miles;
is an '85 and I think I can get it for around 2,500. ( I do think all the important things were maintained but I'll find out more in a day or 2...)

Problem is I don't have room for another car living in a development with no street parking and a full driveway & garage. I would have to get rid of my 300D , or my son's 93 Mark VIII; which he loves but he recently messed up the front end and I put alot of $$ into it to fix up & fix up again.....
& my D I have been thinking of fixing the AC / Sunroof / & giving it the maintenence it is overdue for - timing chain - valves etc- and maybe even new shocks.

So what do I do? I would have to put almost this much into my D to get it up to snuff; or do I go with a nice looking gasser, that I have to run on petro???
