My m110 makes a ticking noise that gets more pronounced as she warms up - I spoke to the original owner and the car made the same noise at five miles on the odometer. It's not as loud as a diesel like some m110s, but it's enough to make a unknowing person question it. It's normal engine noise for an m110, but make sure the valves are adjusted properly.
