I have a friend who is a pilot. He takes his in the plane with him, too. Says it works great. I think it's a C550.

But if she is new to this, maybe she should go for a less pricy one with a good map. If she doesn't like it, she can sell it or give it to me. If she likes it, she can move up to the audio ones and give me the old one.
