After going over some old notes I found what I was doing wrong, it probably didn't help that it was dark at the time. The new blade, I mean wiper assembly is rain-x brand. They are my favorite, last a long time and are priced fair. I couldn't justify buying a $15 blade. Someone said spraying Pam on the arm (underside) helps it loosen up, worked great for me. Thanks for the input. BTW, we enjoyed showing Tennessee how to play football at the Outback bowl.

Next question. Is this the correct Bosch part, or something else?

Next thought. Does the new part exactly match the old part?

Can you put the old part back on the arm?
You have to insert the hooked end of the arm up through the blade assembly and then pull it until it latches. Hard to verbalize.

Finally, getting the arm to go back down will make you think you are going to break it.
It just requires force.
