Its hard to tell what cars will be hot in 30-40 years, when my generation gets to that age and wants to relive there past. I mean these muscle cars were rear and expensive new, most people couldn't afford them back in the day. My dad was into them back when he was my age and said you never saw those cars around. His friends would all buy the cheaper Mustangs and Camaro's and build them.

These days I think most people in my generation aspire to junk like ricers. I know today the cars that I aspire to but can't afford are all European, 355/360/430, 911T, S65, CL65 thats about it. 40 years from now will people from my generation be paying $1m for fully restored CL65's? Or $1m for fully pimped Honda Civic's? I don't know.

I agree about there being a lot of junk and clones out there. I'm a big W126 fan and can spot junk a mile away. Must drive the guys in the know crazy. I know when I spot fake AMG's it annoys me.
