He didn't really let that thing glow at all in that video, nor did he give it any throttle assistance once it got going when cranking. Longer glow + a little throttle and I bet it'd have started right up on the first try.
My 617 started today in about 4-5 cranks with a 10 second glow at 13F  Its been COOOOLD here for WEEKS.
