I think it's crazy to be that paranoid about your own computer, I mean how many people go use your computer when you're not around? Trust issues?

It's ironic that you seem concerned about security in the previous statement, yet you say something like this. Running an old version of Internet Explorer is
the #1 cause of 99% of Windows-related spyware/spam/adware/virus problems.. They're not sending out
critical updates just for the heck of it.
Go download Firefox right now. It'll import all your favorites, history, cookies and saved form information (including passwords) from Internet Explorer. You will barely notice you switched browsers, except for a nice secure feeling
