An Excursion is a bloody terrible off-road vehicle. The mere size alone is a huge hinderance out in the brush.

If you are not towing an enormous boat, horse trailer, RV, or other similar-sized rig, you don't need one of these trucks. That said, it's certainly not my place to tell someone else how to spend their money, and I damn sure don't want the government to do so either.

That said, I think that driving an Excursion on a daily basis is silly. They are uncomfortable on the road and not very useful off-road. Why beat yourself up unnecessarily?
