I have done 83 SD motor into 85 SEL body.
Ignition switch, Simply remove gasser ignition switch, and replace with diesel, then change tumbler over. 2 hour job max. ive done it about 3 times, once it took me about 2 hours to do it, once it took me like 20 minutes.
Run vacuum lines into car for shutoff switch,
Gassers have a fuel pump which should be removed, you also have to remove the little plastic flap inside the filler neck or you will not be able to put the diesel nozzel in.
Try to simplify the wireing, get rid of the EGR, i dont have specifics on your car but it is going to take alittle doing to get the glow plugs working correctly.
On the W126 the diesel motor mounts work just fine however one of the brackets that mounts the lower part of the engine shock is on the wrong side, so i didnt mount an engine shock on the driver side.
I never got the tach to work on my SEL after the swap, but i never really tried to hard.
