I'm guessing the it might need a valve adjustment job so shaking will stop. I adjusted mine recently (never did it b4 and was shaky) and what a difference it made. I can literally say the shaking stopped. I tell you its smoooooth!!!
Never did valve adjustment b4.... but I am now a strong advocate. I did it on the 85 D since am using it this winter. I got the 84 D parked for the winter but I plan to do the same soon. Its a pretty easy thing to do once you are in it.
BTW, it takes a 14mm open wrench to adj the valves. After seeing what the hazet wrench looked like, I just went to Sears and got a long 14mm combination wrench and bent it to look like the Hazet. Used torch, vise and a good pair of pliers.
I'll take a pic sometime.
You can change the mounts but I think the source of the problem should be fixed. Otherwise, shaking will continue, imho.
