A very good family friend has an Amex Black Card....
Sometime in October, he got a call from Amex saying that he had reached his limt, and they asked if he wanted it raised. He said something to the extent of "WTF." The limit on the card is about the price of two new fully optioned Ford Focus's.
Well, he told the woman on the phone that he hadnt been using his card, as he had started to use his business card, because of the better rewards. Well, they locked his Amex Black card, and were able to track the purchases and catch the guys that stole the card.
Amex fixed all of the problems that arose from the theft of the card, and he is out no money. He got a new card, with new number, and all is well once again!
