2.5 turbodiesel:

123hp@4600rpm
168lb-ft@2400rpm

2.6 gas:

158hp@5800rpm
162lb-ft@4600rpm

Should handle the power and torque, but shift points and torque converter might be a little out of line with the power.

The diesel car has better sound-deadening inside and out also, you'll hear more from the engine putting it in the gas body.

What about engine weight? I think the Dt has heavier front springs and shocks also.
