I do appreciate the passing of info. Unfortunatly, I leared all of those lessons the hard way. I am confident that once I get a good tuning, I will be able to get the car to pass at a referee station. I know that I'm looking to spend at least another 500-1000 on this car, on the way to get the engine running smoothly enough to pass smog. And I've resigned myself to paying the late-fee for registration.

The late fee on this car will be much less expensive than the one on my truck. '05 3500 Silverado, Crew Cab, Dually, 6.6 Turbo Diesel. Out the door from DMV... $868.00... plus three trips to the scale...
