Wow thats tough! But you paid off $43k in CC debt that in itself is something, most people would declare bankruptcy. But you stuck with responsibility for the situation and fixed it, I respect that.

I have had a Visa with a tiny $500 limit for 4 years, and never have had a single issue. My credit report is 100% perfect no late payments nothing. But now life is changing and for a variaty of reasons I really need to build my credit up over the next 18-24 months. So I am looking for a CC with a big limit, I was denied one already, but I am hoping my second shot went through.
