I have removed the MC from my 81 300 TD. On the brake booster there is a ring of black around the opening where the MC joins. Looking on the MC itself, the gasket looks fine and smooth. The ring on the booster looks solid as if there is a rubber gasket. Is this ring, a gasket or just part of the gasket from the MC ?? TIA
