Questions responses: 1) The thing on top is a magnetic ham radio antenna that has been removed..2) I have owned the car for about 3 years 3) Maintenance done..oil changes, battery, air filter, tires, block heater added....3) The AC/heater blower....previous owner said it was an issue with the fan switch (intermittent)...I had it come on several times but not lately 4) Another ebayer has brought to my attention that this may not be a "gray market" or "european" model as evidenced by large bumpers and "full wood grain interior" (I think it is more like a veneer)...I was told it was gray market by previous owner, ebay system woudn't take vin, and when I registered in colorado, they had to send title to Denver because vin was not in system, I did find an emission sticker on door frame.... I really can't say for sure!...5) someone asked about if this would be a good car for school, and I would say yes as it has always been very reliable, handles well, etc...being a diesel its not very fast and only seems to like to cruise at about 65 (but certainly can go faster)...6) another question was about mechanical needs....and I don't know enough about diesels to say for sure, but it starts right up (using block heater in winter) and runs well (my opinion)...I think it might need valve adjustment (ticking) but maybe this is normal diesel noise?? I'm told diesels should have fuel filters replaced so that would be a good idea 7) selling car because we currently have 5 and drive this the least (mostly because of the heater not woking and it is COLD here in the winter!) 8) as far as a test drive, that would be fine....just email me your contact number and time and I will call to arrrange a test drive!
