You are thinking of the 300D normally aspirated motor @ 88 hp. The engine I am considering is a turbo, same as the engine that is in the car now. You are correct of course about using a 300D non turbo in a W126. These are slow in the W123 chassis which is some 400-500 lbs. lighter than the W126.
