I agree. This deal did nothing but drag down MB brand and drag "up" Chrysler. Basically, if you want a new entry level MB, just buy a nice Chrysler and save a fortune. The technology is there.

In the end, this would be a win-win (for them to split back up.) -- (Daimler might take a socking -- and they'll still need to improve their quality to compete with the Lexus nameplate.
