I was trying to diagnose a fast idle problem today and was running the engine with the air cleaner off, breather hose and vacuum line off, and the intake snorkel sensor disconnected and snorkel removed. After I put everything back together I noticed that the check engine light was on. Would running the engine with these things disconnected cause the light to go on? What do I need to do to get it to go off?
