thank you guys, you were right.. A friend told me that the light might be a transmission oil level warning lamp. It is actually the light for the coolant level. The level of coolant is where it should be and the light still turns on. For example I start the car once and the light is off then I turn the car off and start it again and the light is on. It also turns on and off when I'm driving. Probably a bad connection?
