I think you're right. The Europa was the original sound system offered. I have a Becker Mexico that I took out of my '80 300SD which is the twin knob style (like the Europa) but has a tape deck and signal seek. I have a Europa in my '77 450SL which I think I'm going to pull out and put the Mexico in so if you're interested, please let me know. Both work perfectly. And I have the original amps as well.
