Hi Ice fire


Last 84 500sel i had was converted to a 300D engine, I saw the pass side engine mount was custom built. The rest look normal to me.

SO how to go about say I have a 81 280se W 126 with seized engine.
I need to drop either a 300D or Turbo engine in it.

I think the short ratio rear end as compare to Dsl engine. Gas engs are high revving wheras Dsl doing 3000 is high too.
Even the 300D maybe adequate the Turbo will be better too, depends on if I can get an Turbo cheap.
