Where I live the local cops won't give it to you, but the Department of Motor Vehicles
has to give it to you (May be called Dept. of Public Safety, ect....where you are, but you know--where the State Troopers hang out). You can also request that your insurance agent get you a copy but that is kind of like going around your elbow.....
