new filter in november, 6K ago.. run power service every tankful until green grass shows up.. temps are up over last month from low in the negative 5 to 15 range to now where it is only going down to single numbers.. last november it would start down to 10*F with out a block heater, now it struggles to do it with the block heater... and it has been my gut feeling that something has been slowly worse, causing it to start hard... But it has been really noticeable in the last week...
used glow plugs from fastlane, bosch I believe.. and yes 4 of them burned out all at once a month ago.. prior to that it seemed as if it was being a little cold blooded but it was wicked cold all january/feburary so it seemed rash to assume it was the car.. new glow plugs fixed it up good for 2 weeks or so.. then it has just gotten much slower to fire up...
What are the "fuse strip" s? fuses, or fuseable links? or is that the 80 amp fuse on the glow plug timer.. i think the timer is working, as it will fire right up once it has been driven in the past 4 hours, just when it sits overnight..
Oh and it has been about 6k since the last valve adjustment.. although I am gonna check it again, as the the engine seems to start hitting on 1 or 2 cylinders first for a couple revolutions then the others chime in... ...?
