When I was in 5th grade, the bus that took me to school would pass by Beckenbauer's house. One day, my best buddy and I decided to get off bus there, after school ring the bell and ask for an autograph.
A woman opened the door, maybe his wife, I dunno, but sure enough, she smiled, went inside the house and came back with 2 signed photographs, displaying "Kaiser Franz" in action.

Youth, sweet Youth.
