Yes, you should be able to, but I think you have to be watchful of the position of the key. I'll have to look at mine, as I cannot move the trunk lock or glove box with my key. Appears the PO had square after market keys made with the "valet" or "service" key. Also check to make sure the vacuum actuator is working.
