We just bought a 97 E320, 120K miles. It was a liitle rough shifting but I just squared that away with a tranny fluid change. Make sure you change it every 60k. I have noticed the head gasket leaking on the exhaust side, so check that out. The car accelerates fine, no noise and handles like a dream
